Might be the easiest French Toast you’ve ever made, maybe.
This recipe only takes a couple ingredients and can be ready in under 10 minutes. I like to use ciabatta bread but you can also make this recipe gluten-free by substituting with any gluten free bread you feel fit.
Also with toppings, get creative. I used bananas, kiwi, strawberry, blueberries, pecans, and pure maple syrup.
- 1 Cup Coconut Milk (or any other Plant Based milk)
- 1 Tbsp Flour
- 1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon
- Dash of Nutmeg
- 1 Ciabatta Loaf
- Divide bread into about 4-6 equal slices. (or divide to your desired thickness) set aside.
- Combine all other ingredients in a mix bowl.
- Dip bread in wet mixture and fry until golden brown.
- Add toppings and serve.
