Açaí Bowl

Easily one of my favorite go to dishes for breakfast. Takes about 5 minutes to make and is a pretty legit starter to get your day going. I like the consistency of my Açaí to be a little thick so it can hold all the toppings. Again, with the toppings you can use your own imagination and be creative. For mine, I used banana, kiwi, blueberry, strawberry, coconut flakes, cinnamon, almond butter, and chia seeds.

Açaí berries are known as a super food which packs a great amount of benefits. But, even greater than benefits is the taste. Well, that’s in my opinion. Also, some things that’ll help make this process easier to make in the morning is to always have frozen fruit on deck (berries, bananas, etc.) It’ll help not only with smoothies, but with a variety of other recipes as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 Frozen Açaí smoothie pack
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 Cup frozen Berries
  • 3/4 Apple Juice (or to your consistency)

Toppings

  • 1 Sliced Banana
  • 1 Sliced Kiwi
  • 1 Sliced Strawberry
  • 1/2 Cup Blueberries
  • 2 Tbsp of Coconut Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • Almond Butter

Directions

  1. Combine all frozen ingredients in a blender and blend. Adding apple juice for your desired consistency.
  2. Add Açaí smoothie to a bowl and top with your desired toppings. Enjoy it.
